Turoa and Whakapapa ski-fields have guided walks, chair lift rides and scenic flights to complement rafting, canoeing, trout fishing, golf and horse trekking.

Whanganui River National Park is a mystical place of Maori history and legend, with a spectacular and unspoiled unique river journey by kayak, canoe or jet boat.
