I hope Easter was a great boost to the coffers for your business and the school holidays continues to deliver! A short Newsletter this time round with a couple of reminders.
Buyers Update – We currently have 149 Buyer Registrations. I am pleased with this number at this point and very happy with the calibre of buyer. Full teams of staff from Tourism New Zealand, Helloworld/ATS Pacific, Pacific Destinations, IDNZ, Pan Pacific Travel, General Travel and Beyond the Blue, have registered as well as many other buyers from other inbounds, I-Sites, media and travel sellers.

I will still keep pushing to get more buyers for you – but don’t forget: You can help! If you have Travel Buyers or trade you’re already working with that you would like to invite along, please do let me know and I can extend the invitation, or better still – feel free to invite them yourself ! Here’s the Buyer Registration Link on our website. What great excuse to reach out to your buyers ‘hey – we are in Auckland at the eXplore Show – we’d love to see you, come and say Hi!’ They must register to attend.
Show Briefing and Working With Trade Refresher 14th April 10.30-11.30
A reminder re the online update and briefing for all exhibitors on FRIDAY morning. Note that this is general information re the show, and update on buyers, getting prepared, and things you need to know before the event two weeks following. The show briefing will be about 10 minutes long. Following that I will be joined by Michelle Caldwell of Destinate NZ. She will conduct a ‘Working with Trade Refresher’ to help you line up your ducks before the event, how to make the most of the day, and conducting followup (most importantly). We are pitching this at an intermediate level – so learnings for the newbies to the event and new to trade, and refreshers for everyone else. There will be Q and A after each of us have presented. Michelle has supplied the following resources for you: Destinate NZ Are you Export Ready Checklist and a sample Rate Sheet.

Big Screen Video. If you haven’t already – Supply by Sunday 16th April. As per the prospectus – you are able to submit a 30 second video for the 2 big screens I have hired at the venue – Eeek no video! Don’t panic – See my last newsletter
Please note – I am not an editor and unable re-edit overlength videos.
A strict cut-off applies for these videos so no late submissions accepted as it goes into production for checking and looping. Please supply a standard 15- 30 second 16:9 aspect video file– just like the telly at home (portrait on the cellphone won’t cut it!). Preferably a MP4 file. Send your complete video to me as you can via any file sharing source – drop box / google drive / wetransfer.com etc. I will confirm receipt – if you don’t hear from me within 24 hours of sending – CHECK in case it got lost!
